Sudden fire in a Coach of Jan Shatabdi Express Stirred up..

A bogie of the Janshatabdi Express going from Delhi to Dehradun in the forest of Kansaro Forest Range on the Haridwar-Dehradun railway track suddenly caught fire. A fire broke out in the train. The loco pilot stopped the train in the jungle by applying emergency brake. Immediately the compartment was evacuated. Along with this, other coaches have been saved safely by separating from this train. All passengers aboard this train are safe. At around 12:30 pm on Saturday afternoon, when the train was passing through the Kansro range of Rajaji Tiger Reserve, the (C5) coach of the train suddenly caught fire. The passengers in the coach pulled the emergency chain and informed the loco pilot. Immediately after the emergency brake in the loco pilot, the train was stopped near the Concaro Range. The passengers in the compartment came out as soon as the train stopped. The staff present on the train immediately cut this (C5) coach in the middle of the train and separated it from the rest of the coaches. Thankfully, nobody was harmed in the meantime. On seeing the whole bogey was engulfed by flames. Only the Forest Department post is present at the place where the accident took place. On receiving the information, the employees of the forest department reached the spot with their personal resources. They tried to extinguish the fire, but the fire was so terrible that the whole bogie was burnt in a short time. Eyewitness on the spot and RP Nautiyal, Range Officer of Kansaro Forest Range, said that no passenger was harmed. The power supply of the rail line was also cut off immediately after the incident. He said that the cause of the fire is being told as a short circuit. At present, even railway officials were not able to reach the spot yet. The place or accident is in the dense forest area of Rajaji Tiger Reserve, where it is not easy to reach even by road.
